Mashhoor Ahmad Salameh ALWARDAT Professor of Astrophysics Dep. of Applied Physics, University of Sharjah, Shj, UAE Director of the Department of Academic Affairs at Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences and Technology (SAASST). Coordinator of the M.Sc. in Astronomy and Space Sciences. Has more than 50 publications in scientific journals, these papers can be found at SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System (http://adsabs.harvard.edu/) He has a novel method for analyzing binary and multiple stellar systems (Al-Wardat’s Method). He established a good international collaboration and recently he is working on the data of Gaia Space Telescope. He is active in the international relations and scientific cooperation. University of Sharjah published his book “Stellar Astrophysics” in Arabic language after being reviewed by anonymous specialists. He has writings on the scientific interpretation of some verses of the Holy Qur’an. His Scientific and research interests: • Spectrophotometry of stars. • Interferometry of binary and multiple stars. • Atmospheric modelling of single and binary solar type and carbon stars. • Light curves of eclipsing X-ray binary stars. • Astronomical site selection and testing. • History of Astronomy.

مشهور احمد سالمه الوردات أستاذ الفيزياء الفلكية في قسم الفيزياء التطبيقية وعلم الفلك – كلية العلوم – جامعة الشارقة. مدير الشؤون األكاديمية في أكاديمية الشارقة لعلوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء والفلك. منسق برنامج ماجستير العلوم في علوم الفضاء والفلك. بحثاً متخصصاً ومنشوراً له ما يزيد على خمسين في مجالت علمية متخصصة ومح كمة. جميع هذه األبحاث موجودة في قاعدة بيانات وكالة ناسا، ويمكن الوصول إليها . )http://adsabs.harvard.edu/( :التالي الرابط عبر له طريقة متخصصة في تحليل النجوم الثنائية والمتعددة والتي ال يمكن تمييزها عن بعضها بالتلسكوبات الصغيرة والمتوسطة، وعرفت هذه الطريقة بطريقة الوردات. نشر يقيم فيه قياسات تلسكوب الفضاء بحثاً مهماً مؤخراً األوروبي غايا فيما يخص بُعد النجوم الثنائية وحساب كتلها. نشرت جامعة الشارقة كتابه “الفيزياء الفلكية النجمية” باللغة العربية بعد تحكيمه من قبل مختصين بشكل علمي . ناشط في التعاون العلمي الدولي . وله كتابات في التفسير العلمي لبعض آيات القرآن الكريم. اهتماماته العلمية والبحثية: • المطيافية الضوئية للنجوم. • المداخلة البناءة لألنظمة النجمية الثنائية والمتعددة. • نمذجة أجواء النجوم المفردة والثنائية من النوع الشمسي والكربوني. • المنحنيات الضوئية لنجوم ثنائي ات األشعة السينية. • اختيار واختبار المواقع الفلكية لبناء المراصد الفلكية. • الميكانيكا الكالسيكية وتطبيقاتها الحديثة. • تاريخ علم الفلك.
